JULIE McDONALD, CNM, MSN

Julie McDonald, CNM, MSN brings decades of experience in women’s health, obstetrics, family medicine, dermatology, and advanced medical aesthetics. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Boston College earning a Bachelors in Science in Nursing followed by a Masters of Science in Nurse Midwifery in Long Island, NY at SUNY Stonybrook. She is certified by the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and North Carolina boards of Nursing and by the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Julie has extensive training and certifications in medical aesthetics and preventative medicine. She performs the most up to date techniques with neurotoxins, fillers, PDO threads for non surgical face lifts, collagen production, wrinkle relaxing and contouring.

She is also advanced trained in vein removal for intricate injections of spider and reticular veins. She feels treatments with RF micro needling, PDO threads, PRP/PRF and essential vitamins are important to maintain a youthful appearance and confidence when treating aging skin and hair loss.

Her years of experience in gynecology and passion for caring for women of all ages has been beneficial with treating vaginal health, vaginal rejuvenation and menopausal medicine. She is trained in bio identical hormone therapy, dietary supplements, nutrition, and their impact on human health.

Julie believes the power of aesthetic medicine has the ability to incorporate emotional and physical wellbeing which greatly influences self confidence and a positive affect. She feels it does not serve to alter appearance but to enhance natural beauty.

When not working, Julie’s ultimate passion is spending time with her beautiful family and friends. She loves to travel and explore the world we live in. She loves the ocean, farmers markets, exercise, theatre and the arts.
